Marine Ship Electric/Hydraulic Anchor Windlass
Product Description
A marine hydraulic anchor windlass is a device used on a ship or boat to raise and lower the anchor using hydraulic power. It is commonly used on larger vessels where the weight and size of the anchor and chain make manual operation difficult or impossible. The hydraulic anchor windlass consists of several components, including a hydraulic motor, pump, chain wheel or gypsy, anchor chain, and brake. The hydraulic motor powers the pump, which provides the hydraulic pressure to drive the chain wheel or gypsy, enabling it to lift and lower the anchor chain. The brake is used to hold the anchor in place when the windlass is not in use, preventing the anchor chain from slipping and the vessel from drifting.
Hydraulic anchor windlasses offer several advantages over manual or electric windlasses, including higher lifting capacities, greater control over the speed and direction of the anchor chain, and greater reliability and durability. They are commonly used on larger vessels, such as cargo ships, tankers, and offshore drilling rigs. According to the gypsy quantity or function, there are mainly three types, hydraulic single gypsy windlass, hydraulic double gypsy windlass and hydraulic combined windlass.
Detailed Photos
The windlass is a mechanical device for throwing, lifting and retracting the anchor. It is located at the bow of the ship.The roller on both sides of the sprocket wheel can be used for twisting and retracting ropes.Windlass can be divided into human windlass, electric windlass and electric hydraulic windlass according to different power.At present, the Marine windlass is mainly electric hydraulic windlass and electric windlass

8. Can be customized according to your requirements;
9. Manual or hydraulic brake and clutch;
10. Approved by BV, LR, RINA...
1.Generally, the installation of the windlass should ensure that the three points of the anchor chain leading out (the anchor chain barrel, the chain controller and the sprocket) are in one line
2.Work load: refers to the tension measured at the outlet of the anchor chain wheel.
3.Overload tension: the short time overload capacity required by the windlass.
4.Average speed: the speed at which two anchor chains are recovered when three are in the water and are freely suspended.
5.Support load: refers to the maximum static load on the anchor chain that the anchor chain wheel brake should be able to bear.
