Working process


1. Main components: friction winch is mainly composed of winch wheel, winch, rope, brake and transmission device.
2. Winch wheel and winch: The winch wheel is a round or oval metal wheel that is fixed to the winch wheel seat. The winch has a series of grooves, and the rope can be wound around the grooves in the winch.
3. Twisted rope: Twisted rope is a high-strength rope made of multiple metal wires. It provides a mechanical drive by winding through a cut slot in the winch.
4. Brake: Brake is used to control the rotation and stop of the winch. Generally, friction brakes are used, which apply friction to the winch wheel to offset the weight  being lifted.
5. Transmission device: Transmission device transfers the power of the power source (usually the motor) to the winch wheel to make it rotate.

1. Drop: When the rope unlocks the brake, the friction winch can be lowered. The electric motor provides power through a transmission that starts the winch wheel spinning. The rope is unwound from the cutout of the winch and released by an external device.
2. Rise: When the rope is tautted through the external device, the winch will be drawn and the friction winch will begin to rise. The brake applies friction to prevent the rotation of the winch wheel, and the tightness of the brake can be controlled manually or automatically.
3. Brake: When it is necessary to stop the rotation of the winch, the brake will generate friction to stop the rotation of the winch wheel and the winding of the rope. The brake usually consists of a friction plate and a pressure device, which regulates the friction of the brake by increasing or decreasing the pressure. The friction winch controls the movement of the lifting weight by adjusting the friction force of the brake and the retraction of the rope. Its working principle is simple and reliable, and it is widely used in hoisting scenes such as construction sites and ports.

In the friction winch, the wire rope moves around the driving wheel, and the friction between the wire rope and the driving wheel is used to drive the entire system. Control system
The friction traction winch and foundation are respectively arranged behind the extension line of the boat trolley track at the dock head, and the winch motor and the master command control cabinet can be nearby. The wire rope of the winch is extended to the cable tensioning device on both sides of the dock through the pulley along the track of the boat hauler. The hauler car, the following car and the track are arranged on the top front of the two sides of the dock wall.
